Beneficiaries
Each beneficiary carries its B-BBEE profile, contact people, preferred contact channel and programme memberships. EME, QSE or Generic classification is derived from the turnover band at read time, so it can never go stale.
Platform
BeeLevel is the system of record for an ESD programme: who your beneficiaries are, what they still owe you on paper, where every rand went, and the evidence for all of it.
Each beneficiary carries its B-BBEE profile, contact people, preferred contact channel and programme memberships. EME, QSE or Generic classification is derived from the turnover band at read time, so it can never go stale.
Four required slots per beneficiary: B-BBEE evidence, CIPC registration, SARS tax PIN and bank proof. Status (valid, expiring, expired, missing) is computed from expiry dates, and warnings escalate at 60, 30 and 7 days.
Beneficiaries sign in to their own portal to upload renewals, report milestone progress and see their support history, scoped strictly to their own business.
ED and SD are separate scorecard elements, so they stay separate here: separate budgets, separate ledgers, never merged in any report. Disbursements are captured by one person and approved by another, and an approved entry is immutable. Corrections are negative reversal entries linked to the original, in plain sight.
Historical spend imported from spreadsheets enters as unverified and is reported separately until an Administrator approves it, so your clean ledger is never contaminated by unchecked history.
Every beneficiary carries one percentage answering one question: if a verification agency asked for this file today, how complete would it be?
Components with nothing applicable drop out of the denominator instead of earning free points. Clicking any score opens the full item-by-item breakdown. It measures documentation completeness only; it is never a compliance verdict.
The Capture Inbox is a live work queue, computed fresh every time: every document slot that is expired, expiring or missing, plus every follow-up that has come due.
Channel, purpose, outcome, note and follow-up date in a single form, straight from the queue. Overdue follow-ups sort to the top.
Camera-friendly capture at one-thumb sizes, document type preselected from context, expiry dates prefilled sensibly and always editable.
Beneficiaries send documents by WhatsApp or email; they arrive in the Intake tab matched by phone or address. A human confirms type and dates before anything is filed. Nothing is auto-filed.
Approves spend, manages settings and imports, reads the audit log, sees agent activity.
Runs the portfolio day to day: beneficiaries, documents, spend capture, milestones.
Own profile, own documents, own milestones and support history. Nothing else.
Sees only explicitly assigned beneficiaries. Everything they enter records who entered it and on whose behalf.
Security posture in one line: tenant isolation on every query, capability checks defined centrally, files served through authenticated routes only, and an append-only audit log. The privacy notice covers the POPIA detail.
Bring one messy spreadsheet to the demo and watch the dry-run importer deal with it.
